- Grasp the basics of Drupal and its architecture
- Understand Drupal's hook system and development architecture
- Use Git and submitting patches, supporting and submitting your own modules
- Develop advanced modules
- Work with data using Drupal's core database abstraction layer
- Integrate your custom modules with Drupal’s theming API
- Appreciate the flexibility of the Drupal Forms API
- Understand best practices, security techniques, conventions and coding standards
Course prerequisites:
PHP coding experience, basic comprehension of Drupal (as covered by our Drupal in a day course) and your own internet ready laptop computer
